BuddsBuddy’s Ruby Pacifiers With Protection Cap are cute, functional, and hygienic. Our pacifiers are orthodontic. The curved shield allows the pacifier to fit firmly in a baby's mouth when inserted at any angle without increasing pressure on the baby’s incoming teeth. The large holes on the shield allow air to flow so that the baby’s skin stays drier. No risk of skin infections. The pacifiers’ anti-slip texture helps the nipple to stay comfortably in the baby’s mouth. The nipple is 100% non-toxic, tasteless, odourless, BPA-free, and made of ultra-soft silicone to mimic the mother’s skin.

The pacifiers are light enough to remain inserted in your baby’s mouth for a long time, so you don’t need to replace it now and then. The anti-static material of the pacifiers prevents dust from settling onto them. Their simple design makes them easy to clean in a dishwasher. These ruby-shaped pacifiers glow in the dark, making them easy for you to spot in the night-time when your baby turns cranky suddenly. They come with a hygienic cap to keep the nipple clean and hygienic at all times. Your baby will love latching onto these pacifiers. This set of pacifiers comes with two colours — pink and blue.

Faqs

  1. Is this OK for a 1 month old baby?
Yes, you can use it from 0m till 36m.
  2. What is the minimum and maximum age of the baby for using this product?
You can start using a pacifier from 0m+. However, because most newborns prefer a smaller size, we have made the following recommendations, You can start using a round/bulb pacifier in the beginning and for a toddler you can use an orthodontic pacifier (till 36m). Age and size indications are only a guide for you to follow and that all sizes can be used from when your baby is born.
  3. When should you replace your pacifier?
We recommend a replacement every 4-6 weeks for both safety and hygienic reasons. But always carefully inspect the pacifier before each use. Pull the nipple in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
  4. Is there honey inside the nipple?
No, it's just made of food grade BPA Free plastic and silicone material. In olden days people used to give pacifiers willed with artificial sweeteners which are very harmful for babies. The FDA is recommending parents and caregivers do not give pacifiers filled with or dipped in honey to their infants or young children. If you have previously purchased a pacifier filled with or dipped in honey, you should stop using it and discard it immediately.
  5. Are Pacifiers with honey better?
No, those pacifiers with artificial sweeteners are very dangerous. The FDA is recommending parents and caregivers do not give pacifiers filled with or dipped in honey to their infants or young children. If you have previously purchased a pacifier filled with or dipped in honey, you should stop using it and discard it immediately.
  6. What is the difference between an orthodontic nipple and soft nipple? Which one should I use for my 14 month baby?
Usually there are 3 different shapes available in pacifier teat: round, symmetric, orthodontic. The same is completely dependent on your child's preference or your recent baby bottle nipple. For above 12m orthodontic is sugetable.
  7. I have purchased this , so i can fill honey inside and they baby will use to suck the honey slowly....but i am jot able to find any way to fill honey
You can not fill honey or natural sweeteners with this pacifier, it is very dangerous to a child's health. The FDA is recommending parents and caregivers do not give pacifiers filled with or dipped in honey to their infants or young children. If you have previously purchased a pacifier filled with or dipped in honey, you should stop using it and discard it immediately
  8. Can it be sterilized in a sterilizer?
Yes, it can be sterilized in an electric sterilizer or you can sterilize it by using a microwave or hot boiling water, the same as a feeding bottle.
  9. How are pacifiers cleaned?
Before first use, and at regular intervals thereafter, boil the pacifier in water for up to five minutes. Please avoid leaving the pacifier in the sterilising solution for longer than the time recommended. Sometimes water may enter the inside of the nipple, this is because of a ventilation system that exists in the nipple and helps make the pacifier orthodontic.
  10. Is the shape of the pacifier and nipple important?
Yes, only orthodontic soothers support baby’s healthy jaw and tooth development. BuddsBuddy collaborates with medical experts to help develop and design innovative, orthodontic pacifiers that suit a baby's various developmental stages.
  11. How often and for how long during the day should children be allowed to use a pacifier?
Sucking calms and relaxes babies, but all children are different and have their individual needs. The orthodontic pacifiers support healthy development so you do not need to worry about them harming your baby’s oral cavity development. However, medical experts recommend only allowing your baby the pacifier for up to 6 hours a day. This will help to ensure the best possible support for healthy oral development.
  12. Which side is the upper side of this pacifier?
I believe it is the wider side- some of the pacifiers have pictures of animals, so wide end up keeps them tight side up. If you look at the nipple, you see how it goes against the roof of the mouth. Angled end goes against the tongue.
